And IMO "Make me" is also better than "Slumber Party", the only thing on SP that is better than MM is the music video, thats all. Both songs are flawless tho. On the other hand, I may be unpopular but I think "Overprotected" was a better single than "Slave" as iconic it may be. And "Gimme More" is epic and legendary but I feel like "Piece of me" is the best thing on "Blackout". shap_half Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 I think in the entire fandom, only Toxic would be considered as the second single that is clearly better than the album lead. I supposed you can make arguments for other comparisons, but I imagine that the MATM-Toxic debate is nearly unanimous. Having said that, I don't really like Womanizer; whereas I do like Circus. But for me, that's the only other second vs lead where I can confidently say I didn't prefer the lead. Oops, Slave, Gimme More, and Make Me, to me, are some of Britney's very best songs.
