Sounds to me like a streaming-only budget compilation in the vein of The Essential collection that Sony's Legacy branch put out some years ago I think they originally claimed the tracks on that were remastered, while I'm not a fan of the mixing in remasters done past the 2010s, it would be interesting to hear how these new masters would stack up against the originals

At this point, other than the USC ones, entries in all major databases mean absolutely nothing While there's always been the odd scam artist adding their songs on Britney's page, some time ago people actually found a way to add entries on BMI and decided to create fake entries which have since been removed (though I'm pretty sure I originally posted about some of them) to troll people like us that have tried to make trackers of unreleased songs in the past Not only that but if you actually look at all the confirmed recorded songs we know of, they either don't list Britney as a performer or are not registered at all

Yes I did! In fact it was your post that made me want to take a deep dive in there again I noticed that while searching by titles results get capped past a certain amount, while if you use keywords it shows you most if not all of the results. I'm sure there's still thousands upon thousands more entries anyway, a lot of them are probably private or redacted There's also the fact that some of the entries like the Mad Love one are only credited to Spears, which is a far more common name than Britney or Brittany for that matter, I have time though so I'll definitely keep an eye out in case I find something interesting
