Lol, I always loved that version and it's been on YouTube before; not sure where the OG upload is. Regardless, sounds a million times better than the horrible released version.

This sounds like someone edited out the 2007 demo and added autotune to it while copy/pasting the bridge at the start. Peep the fade in from the "intro".

I could be wrong though.

Ooo it's good. But then again, Radar is a fantastic song nevertheless.

I do wish they upped the autotune s liiittle bit like in this one, om the final version.

 

I will say the instrumental sounds a little unfinished. Or maybe that's me.

I agree, you see the vision. I also like how it's sped up in that "demo". B&A should have went the Piece of Me route for Radar with the more drenched, pitch-shift and distorted vocals. The finalized version sounds extremely amateur. I don't know if they asked her to sing it in a higher pitch or if they manually shifted it but I hate that part of the finalized version. The chorus is all over the place with the weird vocal splicing too. Makes it sound like a parody song. Don't even get me started on the layering!

The CD version of Radar is a hot mess and many others agree! These fan demos are miles better bc they also saw the vision/potential.
