According to Genius¹, the song “Now That I Found You” by Britney Spears samples the song “I Like It Loud” by Marc Acardipane feat. **** Rules. The sample can be heard in the chorus of Britney’s song, where she sings “I can see the light, I have flown away”. The original song has the lyrics “I like it loud, you like it low”. Both songs have a similar melody and beat, and are in the genre of dance-pop.

• Britney Spears co-wrote “Now That I Found You” with Danny O’Donoghue, David Guetta, Frédéric Riesterer, and Giorgio Tuinfort. The song was produced by will.i.am and Tuinfort, and was released as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of her eighth studio album, Britney Jean, in 2013¹
• Marc Acardipane is a German DJ and producer, who is considered one of the pioneers of hardcore techno and gabber music. I like the drop. It’s very 2010s EDM esque. For some reason it sounds like something you would play on New Year’s Eve. I heard it’s actually a worship song. I mean if you look at the lyrics it makes sense. I was still surprised to find out it was a worship song tho. Just like when I found out Brightest Morning Star is also a worship song. I always thought she was singing about her boys.. But considering this was her ‘most personal album ever’ and she’s Christian, it all makes sense.
