Britney reveals in 'The Woman In Me' that her first time wasn't with Justin Timberlake

Nearly two decades after Britney Spears insinuated that she lost her virginity to now-ex Justin Timberlake, she is telling a different story in her The Woman in Me memoir.

A source confirms to Us Weekly that Spears, 41, writes in her book about the guy she “lost [her] virginity to,” identifying him only as the childhood best friend of her brother, Bryan Spears. Bryan’s friend was a 17-year-old senior in high school and Britney was a freshman.

Back in 2003, Britney told W magazine that she had only slept with “one person my whole life,” while referring to Timberlake, now 42.

“It was two years into my relationship with Justin. And I thought he was The One. But I was wrong. I didn’t think he was gonna go on Barbara Walters and sell me out,” she told the magazine at the time.

This poor woman. All for a marketing image. No wonder she felt controlled. Controlled in her music, what she could say, even her past before signing a label her life was controlled. I’m glad she’s now able to be honest with not only herself but the world.

But her virginity wasn't anybody's business that's personal especially when grown men were interviewing her about her bo.obs and her body.

The other day I responded to someone who said that Lynne’s book revealed that Britney had been s3xually active at 14 w/ Reg Jones — but that is NOT in Lynne’s book despite the rumor. That rumor had to have come from somewhere. I said maybe it’s true but Lynne had to remove that bit from her book. I said Reg Jones alluded/all but admitted it was him and he was told by Lynne if anyone asked who he is, why he’s there to say he’s just a friend and deny being Britney’s bf. All her life she was encouraged to lie about herself. Now we know some of these rumors were in fact true but swept under the rug to protect Britney’s image.

Side note:

Britney’s isn’t Reg or Justin’s 1st s3xual relationship either. It’s sad she got s1ut shamed for doing what all the other girls and boys were doing at 14, 15, 16 years old which is common even in conservative, religious small town communities. They probably do it more than anyone else but are so repressed they deny it out of fear of judgement and all that fire and brimstone being preached.😑

I think it’s because Jessica Simpson had announced she was a virgin and remaining one until marriage. It made headlines back then. So that’s why that question even came up. I wouldn’t doubt Britney herself made the decision to lie. At that point when she first spoke she already had the image of a vamp, and she was always teetering the line of “good girl next door” or “segxy naughty girl”.
