I think they're addressing the public, not Britney. 

Also, why is it empowering for a woman to say she doesn't want a baby but we are shaming a man when he says it?  I think this issue is more complicated than this fanbase wants to admit

I think in the long run this will be healing for both so they can both put it in the past where it belongs and move on.  This much be such a  relief for Britney and hopefully eventually for Justin
