Reading this interview - which is very good by the way - I was sure that she really retired. I'm sad on the one hand, but happy that she finally has the autonomy to decide what to do from now on.

I felt the other way around. She loves performing. She will be back eventually.

The fact people are complaining about this. Empathy is truly lost in society. This made me emotional. Most of us have been fans / stans of Britney since the beginning. She’s such an amazingly strong soul. Yeah she might act ridiculous at times but given how she has been treated the past 25 years, 15 of them especially…she’s doing pretty alright. She’s going to be just fine. She’s re-learning to live life on her own after having a team of people make every little decision for her. She’s beautiful inside and out. So happy for you Queen!!!

I think she doesn't want to work anymore, but eventually she will need more money. Producers already telling about working on Britney new songs.

Sadly not her choice to retire, she is a brand not only a person.

Same! It feels like she’s finding herself again, and so also rediscovering her passion for performing. I’m sure her Instagram videos are a sign of how much she loves it and being the centre of attention ❤️

So sad that passion was stripped of her. She literally just had to show up record the album, do the show, sit for the 20 interviews. Repeat that for her next 4 albums. No say and little creative control in what you’re making. 😔😔

I think she is just figuring out what she wants in life rn, and her career is not her priority for her at the moment

It’s actually pretty cool and authentic of her not to submit to the usual glossy photoshoots and promo interviews to cash in, like she really just wanted to put a book out for us fans and that was all 😭
