Madonna kicks off “The Celebration Tour” in London

The Queen of Pop took the stage on Saturday night in London at her first of six sold-out shows at the O2 Arena. Thoughts?

I'm amazed that we actually witnessed a chaotic Madonna era onstage, although the vogue "performance" was quite disorganized, I absolutely adore the references.

I didn't wanna spoil the whole show for myself, so I only watched a few clips. Wow, she looked fabulous, though... And I'm also glad we're getting live vocals - granted, she sounded pretty bad at times, but I'll take what I can get.  The merch looks really cool too, so I'll probably spend an obscene amount of money in Sweden. No "Frozen" is a crime, though. I'm going with my bestie who's new to M's discography, and it's literally her favorite song.

I'm a little sad I spoiled "Live to Tell" for myself, but I couldn't resist. It was so powerful... And I'm so happy that the bridge wasn't cut because the fake-out fade-out into "If I ran away," never fails to induce full-body chills.

IKR? I was shocked she didn’t include “Frozen”

I also wish she did “The power of goodbye” instead of all that new garbage songs like “Give me all your luvin”

Surprised she paid "Hard Candy" dust, especially "Candy Shop" since she seems to love it so much.

I actually think she looks amazing and had a lot more energy that I was expecting. I do think the opening with Bob the Drag Queen was kind of tacky and just too much.

I’m really glad I got tickets before any video came out. I think once people see how amazing she looks, the costumes, the stage, the iconic references to her career- tickets will sell out fast and scalpers will hike the prices up hugely. 
 

I’ve been watching videos and is it because she’s in the UK that her dancers can be nude? Like two men show their complete butt, and some women are dancing topless. Isn’t that considered indecent exposure? Idk I’m from the U.S. where if a man gets caught peeing behind a tree, he can get on the segx offenders list.

Wow this thread got me watchung 2 hours of her show. The show looks and sounds spectacular, and so does she. She is the queen of pop for a reason

She sounded ok singing Nothing Really Matters, Bad girl and Live To Tell. Wish she would have included Power of Goodbye. I'd go if the tickets were free.

I was kinda bored with the clips I watched and I thought the intro was lackluster compared to her other tours, but I’ll keep watching.  I usually enjoy her shows.

I'm pleasantly shocked by setlist and looks and energy. (I am a long time and it would have been hard to disapoint me anyway lol). Seeing her in Barcelona in November! Can't ******* wait.
