Second version of the main mix for "Make Me" resurfaces

The song had several mixes before the final one. On the pro tools' "Renders" folder, we can hear 8 different versions for the track with G-Eazy + 7 different ones without him. Sadly, version 1 without G-Eazy didn't surface, but here's V2.

The instrumentation is kind of different, specially the vocal effect of the start, and it's missing a few adlibs. The bridge is like the one that was sent out to some radio stations without G-Eazy.

I love this song. It has to be one of the best unapologetic Britney songs. Her voice sounds amazing on the final track and I really wish they kept that final bridge or whatever it is on the original and axed Greasy, he didn’t need to be on it.

I don't think that was true at all. The renders do not contain a version with Wiz, but if it ever existed, it could have been deleted before it surfaced.

I highly doubt it tbh.

I agree, gimme more and make me were absolutely brilliant lead singles. Make me would have been huge with the original video

I think a lot of fans didn’t want a feature on the lead single. I’m kinda divided on how I feel about it because at the time I did like his verse. Granted I was in high school so he was a relevant artist to me. Although, I do think G-Eazy of all rappers was a little random LOL.

Make Me is a fave of mine! It's s3xy, chill-vibey song! Something about it makes me play it a lot even to this day.

I think it’s because it was her lead single and people didn’t want a feature… And it might have been a last minute thought since this one was called “Main Mix” while the G-Eazy ones were called “Main Mix feat G-Eazy”. If it was planned, the solo mix would have been called differently, IMO.

I like him and take him as the part of this song/single. They all are kinda late with this hate, almost 10 years later
