Why is it taking almost 6 YEARS for her sophomore album to come out?

Don't most artists usually release their second album right away in order to grow in popularity and success?

 

She's probably the first musician I've ever seen who has gotten away with not releasing their 2nd album close to their first and also still not have their own headlining tour.

Idk how she's managed to stay famous all this time.

 

Back in the day,

Her career would've been over for not releasing her 2nd album right away and not doing her own tour but hey I guess this is how it is now in the music industry.

I didn't know that she didn't release a second album. But she definitely released A LOT of singles during this last 5 years. An album on its self

I think she’s being forced to release from her label. We know she stay in the studio. But her debut was such a banga. It had that 90s feel to it. I would have anxiety just thinking if I could pull off a successful sophomore. Ughh
