Another demoralizing interview that she had to endure. There’s a way to ask tough questions without doing so in a demeaning matter, but back then then approach for celebs they deemed as “troubled” was to shame them for their actions and not offer sympathy. It’s like why bother interviewing a subject you secretly despise?

This was even worse than the Diane Sawyer interview... She was a new mom trying to figure out things, and the questions are really disgusting. This wouldn't fly in 2023, Matt is already cancelled anyway.

IMO, she’ll never let us in this much ever again because of the backlash received. And I cannot blame her at all.

I watched it yesterday. I think she spoke the truth apart from some very personal details, that didn't mattered to the GP.  He was awful to her.

Interesting that you post this cause I saw this interview a few days ago and man I really think this interview was a bad idea because it just made her look worse and also why did she feel the need to defend herself to the world?

She didn't have to answer to them!

I do agree with the other comment on here that she most likely won't ever let us in her personal life again cause of rude and mean interviews like this.

she was so beautiful in this interview, when she cried it just break my heart back then, i remember j lo said at that moment that she wanted to hug her. She was so natural, didn't care about her image that much and SHE WAS SO REAL, nobody can take that from her. I was very young when this interview came out, and as a french, didn't understand that sentence : "that's america for you", now i know
