britney has told us what her mental illness is— depression. she has also told us the many ways she's treating it through both therapy and medication. anything else is speculation from people who are unqualified to make a diagnosis. being depressed doesn't mean you're "crazy" or not treating another mental illness. and having any mental illness doesn't mean you're "crazy" either for that matter. fans are not in denial because they refuse to follow the "she's crazy and off her meds" narrative that is concocted by TEAM CON.

is it possible she was always "like this" but was branded so perfectly into a pop package that it was hidden? the moment social media became a lot more available , we started to see "her side", without the JIVE ribbon wrapped around her. and maybe we think shes "crazy" but maybe shes just this person? maybe she was a packaged product presented to the world before, and she clearly doesnt care to be that anymore and maybe this is actually her... and has been her this whole time. and people are just adjusting to that because theyre so used to the package that has been there for so long. but the shine has worn off.. the branding is no longer there.. and she seems okay with that. just because you want her to "slay" again, doesnt mean she wants to. Imagine going to work every day, and then quitting.. but then being forced to go back because your bosses made you - you go back and then you just half *** it because u dont really want to be there.. and now that her "bosses" are gone, she can do what she wants, which is nothing.

yes!! i think fans that have followed her from the very start recognize this as who britney has always been in her core. a silly, goofy, eccentric girl with an incredible talent. she was definitely marketed to be the perfect pop star, a pedestal that is impossible for anyone to keep up, and had no one to truly care for her when she eventually fell. EXCEPT for us fans, that have loved her unconditionally, though from afar, for many, many years. but i think society as a whole as come to a place of everyone must be the same and if you step out of that sameness, even just a little bit, you're mocked, shamed, and ridiculed relentlessly. britney isn't crazy because she wants to throw an accent, poke fun at the nonsense and lies the media says about, and be silly on instagram. and people don't have to like or understand it either. but to brand her "crazy" for things you don't like/understand is definitely a that person problem, and not britney's.

I hope Britney is doing okay. It does feel like sometimes I see posts on here of people enabling concerning behaviour and making excuses for some major red flags in how Britney may be doing.

I've been a fan since the early days of Brit's career and was staying up-to-date on the day-to-day happenings during the 2007 days and there are some things that are happening which seem to resemble that time.

I'm not saying Brit needs to be in a conservatorship (Free Britney and Justice for Britney supporter here) but I do think it is fair that there may be people around her who care and love her to want her to receive support to help her if something is "wrong" or "unstable" in her life right now.

Please be nice if you disagree and want to share your thoughts in response to this.
