Anticipating or Bombastic Love?

If I had to pick anticipating.... Only cos I think it gives Janet all for you vibes and is so different than anything Britney does and think it could have been a massive hit. 

 

But bombastic love was a banger. 

So is that whole album

"Anticipating" aged a bit better and feels SUUUPER nostalgic for me. She also sounds really good in it. "Bombastic Love" definitely feels more outdated and while Max Martin writes great melodies, his instrumentations really aged like milk. I do enjoy the melody for that song however. It's very early 2000s and I love the Gregorian chants. I just feel like she overused her baby voice and her pitch feels a bit heavy on the ears. Overall though, I'd go for "Anticipating". It's a bonafide bop.

Anticipating. I love the 70s disco sound, very Janet inspired. The bridge is delicious.

 

Bombastic Love sounds like something from a Disney Channel movie.
