No one is here for these tacky remixes that fans used to make back in 2004-2005.

if they want my money, release her unreleased stuff.  Other than that they can F off.

I thought the same thing:quirkney_britney_well_welp_giggle_lol_hehe_haha_laugh_joke:

They need to release Guilty (Kiss version) for an easy top 10 viral SMASHA:lollipop_britney_sucker_dancing_party_2012:

I understand that fans may not like it, as a song they'll listen to, but the fans should stop looking at it like that and start looking at it with pride instead.

Yes, her image and her music are products, but they're not any products. I mean, with this, it shows that Toxic has become so iconic that is now being mashed up with an Elvis song, when will your faves?

Besides, the mashup is even more meaningful in this case, not only because of the revolution that Britney caused in Las Vegas in modern times, despite all the implications of the conservatorship, but also because  Toxic, the song in itself, was inspired not only by the Bollywood sounds but also from the music used in movies like the ones Elvis starred, so it's like everything coming full circle.

If any other fanbase kept getting stuff like this from their faves even when they're in a hiatus or retired, they would just blindly and happily support whatever they get, even if it's a mashup or a remix, or yet another variant of the same perfume, but here we are, traumatized, doubting everything, and just complaining and trying to sabotage whatever they put out, as if we were in a position to reject anything at this point or as if we were getting a lot of things from Britney lately.

It's ironic that people that "worry" about her social media care so much about "what the GP is gonna think of her" but then don't give a **** about whether that same GP forgets about her in the music territory or not (or that Britney still needs to get money from somewhere to keep up with her lifestyle now that she's virtually retired).

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the director said the full version of this has existed since the movie was done, so it's not like they're just pulling it out of thin air now, but it's been done years ago. It could've been released just as part of the movie soundtrack, yet if this is true and it's getting its own release, it means it's more special than the other tracks. :yaknow_britney_xfactor_X_factor_talk_tell_chat_you_know:

This mashup is a homage to both Elvis and Britney Spears, from an Elvis movie. They didn't have any need to do it, yet they did it, with Britney out of all artists. As fans we should be thankful and proud, at least that's how I look at it.

You answered yourself right there.

You’re right tho. :mhm_britney_nodding_yes_mhmm:

Why some fans get so upset about it? Toxic is a timeless classic and it still feels fresh. No one is forcing you guys to listen to it or support it :tina_judging_side_eye_glance_staring_looking_red:

Would u prefer for her legacy to be nowhere to be found? I mean her music has survived the 90s, 2000s, 2010s and now 2020s... how many other has-beens can say the same? :mhmnod_yes_agree_nodding:

You know what would keep her legacy alive? Doing a proper vinyl release of her catalogue. That 2020 cash grab #freebritney distraction UO release doesn’t cut it. They need to do hi res remasters (UO sound quality sucked) with nice gatefolds on heavyweight black vinyl, released to all retailers worldwide. Now THAT would keep the legacy alive, not this 2010s YouTube fan mash up ****. :nysassy_miss_ny_ms_new_york_tiffany_pollard_cigarette_smoke_nod:

Spoiler

At least for now while the market is hot.

WHY didn't they put Glory with the new cover on sale on the official store?

they would print it by the sales, set a pre-sale date date to print it

I want to buy Glory with the new cover!

:pika_pikachu_slap_fighting_hitting_mad:

They already did the 2020 vinyl. Don’t get your hopes up for a CD release of 6+ year old album. The CD format is dying. Record companies are doing them is fewer quantities now or just have them for so they can have a physical format for sale if the vinyl isn’t ready for digital release date. They’re quicker and easier to produce but less people buy them.

Now a proper vinyl release of her entire catalogue, as I mentioned above, could take allllll my money.

the milking never stops. It’s so off putting tbh, like we get she’s a product but damn… like have some respect.

I dunno… some releases are so off putting like the whole perfume things, like they don’t even try anymore.

licenses everywhere.

gurl, britney has a contract. its not like she has to push the song. The record company needs to keep going. she's free now.

I'm clearly not here for another Toxic remix she never heard of...

If they have to release something because of a contract or whatever they could at least release something that we never heard before...... Or a remastered song with unused vocals.... I don't know but a Toxic remix clearly shows they did not put any thoughts in it...
