What’s your thoughts on the Stages documentary?

Recommended Posts

I thought Britney presented herself the best she has her entire life in this documentary. Lol something random I remember is thinking how amazing of a posture she had when eating her breakfast. I was very inspired when I was younger.

She also comes across as very intelligent in this documentary. I loved the part where she gives her friend a palm reading.

OH ok so this was that era Dianne Sawyer was a btch about in her interview with Britney.

Poor Britney :wontcry_tears_crying_sad:

Well hearing it's up there with FTR now I gotta watch, that doc is amazing.

Unrelated, but I really wish Kylie Minogue was this open and did more documentaries, she did one called "White Diamond" and it's cute but it's far too "safe", I loved how raw For the Record was and even in the FF and I Am Britney Jean ones she was more personal. Love Kylie but she's too safe at times. (Random spiel I went on I know)

she seems tired, like over it. also i noticed how she ate her breakfast was so....lonely. like a waiter put a bowl in front of her and she just ate alone at that table and left, id be so self conscious lmao

but overall even tho she seems to also have fun she gives vibes of loneliness and mental tiredness

Stages is one of my favourite Britney pieces. It feels very raw, natural and almost unedited. I feel you can’t help watch it and feel sad for her… to think she was only 20 at the time and had so much going on, so much love from fans, yet she was still clearly incredibly lonely. It’s a really sad but well put together piece.
