Why did Lady Gaga get applause for ending her show due to weather yet Britney got booed by fans for doing the exact same thing?

Britney Spears: 2002 Dream Within A Dream Tour in Mexico 

Lady Gaga: 2022 The Chromatica Ball in Miami 
 

Both had to end their shows for the exact same reason yet only one received hate

Britney didn’t deserve the hate she received

The stages documentary was released months after the show though so the public and media didn’t know their efforts behind the scenes … and Britney’s PR team handled the situation poorly by not saying anything for like an hour while 50K people were under the pouring rain.

This and Gaga personally announced it on stage and IG. Not to mention Gaga has a great relationship with her fans. Gaga and Britney fans are a vibe. Brit took the heat for what all the pop girls get to do today.

It was a different time honey.. idk how old are you but back in 2002 reasons didn’t matter… just like Britney getting booed at the Crossroads London premiere.
