that's absolutely false. Remixes just help to keep the original fresh and to keep people interested in the song. Releasing new versions might let people re-discover the track, gaining more streams.

Ok thanks. I don't keep up with how many streams equal what and all that stuff. Only thing I learned for certain was sandwhich 2 songs in between, so that Spotify doesn't filter it out as spamming, and that at least 30 seconds have to play for it to count when casually listening without a playlist.

It's amazing how some fanbases have this down to a science!
