I wish she would work with a different producer. I don’t find him as versatile as someone like Max Martin. He produces for Taylor, and Lorde as well, and you can tell. I miss Lana’s more experimental sounds where it’d be rock, and then hip-hop/ alternative. Chemtrails and Blue Banisters were such lack luster albums to me.

from 2016 onwards she has been very hit or miss

her music has gone from atmospheric to boring…it no longer has any interesting soundscapes and she is stuck on the vagabond poet shtick

I agree. They had their moment with NFR and it seems like they are just trying to recreate that. The songs gets softer and quieter lol.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lana and Jack may be a great producer, but his latest stuff with Lana has been very underwhelming and disappointing.

I think she should go back and do the sad-pop noir baroque sound like Born To Die or alternative rock like Ultraviolence.

Those two records were literally my bibles!
