I don’t know. I’ve seen so many interviews where Britney brings Lynne along. She’s seems very supportive and acting as a devils advocate, one could argue that perceived camaraderie bolstered her career or image.  Like this one...

So I don’t think it’s fair to say Britney didn’t profit or benefit either. But then again, maybe Britney was hoping it would be genuine or it was forced onto her. So I can't entirely assume or speculate.

My interpretation in my own words:

 

My mom should have scared my dad maybe he wouldn't have taken advantage of me if she did. She could have at least pretended to care about me enough to stand up for me. Now I'm just like her. I put on a sweet act to please everyone and I don't even stand up for myself because when your sweet then dad won't be scared and won't lash out right mom?

My whole life I had to deal with this. You can tell a child write this and only a child knows the truth they see everything that goes on. 

What this child said is how it should have been and how it should be.

heartbreaking that the only parental figure she looked up to in her life also neglected her for the sake of "keeping the peace" & her own selfish needs, was it worth it losing the relationship with your daughter who loved you unconditionally? I don't think so
