It was her night. She doesn’t have to talk about Britney non stop but The only thing that bothers me is that obviously they knew it would probably come up and clearly talked about it and had a signal. It’s her publicist fault though for not paying attention and diverting before Christina had to signal him over. That looks worse

Okay.. No shade but I’m beginning to wonder if “Hollywood” is starting to distance itself from “Britney”, because she’s too much of a sticky talking point.
People only want to focus on Britney being a woman, strong, brave, live your truth, the usual yada yada. Thus failing to address the real abuse and issues Britney had to deal with daily (and I’m sure is still probably dealing with today). Whatever that may be. No one out there wants to touch that.
 

Also I lowkey think GaGa is full of tihS and doesn’t really support Britney, she’s only out to hit a trend and promo her horrible movie.. which I will probably go see.. or at least rent at Redbox in a month when it Tanks.

Either way, it's pretty bad... Christina wished her well, it was that douche behind her that stopped her from speaking, something that Britney should know as she's very well experienced with her team constantly silencing her these years.

I'm a Britney stan, but to call Christina out publicly may not be the smartest move.

This reminds of something Adele mentioned on her interview with Oprah. When she was asked about her weight lost, she said: ""It's not my job to validate how people feel about their bodies. I feel bad that it's made anyone feel horrible about themselves - but that's not my job. I'm trying to sort my own life out. I can't add another worry. "

Adele made a valid point that applies to other topics.

Why should Christina, or any other artists, constantly validate what Britney went through?

Sure, most artists are powerful enough to be vocal about it, but it's not their jobs. They're trying to sort their own lives out too.

Britney wants others to speak up, but truth is, and as Gaga said, she's the only one that changed her life, nobody else.

Maybe it's time for Britney to finally speak up and stand for herself. Now, more than ever, she's proving she has a voice of her own.
