Pregnant women in music appreciation thread (Happy Mother's Day)

In celebration of Mother's Day which is celebrated this weekend in most countries, let's make an appreciation thread of all the moms in music.

Let's start with the Queen of Exhale, Britney Spears, who filmed the music video of Someday (I Will Undersand) while pregnant with her first son Sean Preston, in 2005.

 

Almost 10 years later, in February 2015, Mexican band Maná released a collaboration with Shakira titled Mi Verdad. She was pregnant with her second son Sasha when filming the music video for the song, which was shot in late 2014.

 

In 2011, we could also get a glimpse of Beyoncé while pregnant with her first daughter, the Grammy winner Blue Ivy Carter, in the music video for Countdown.

 

 

Though the main focus of the thread is to show music videos or performances or photoshoots that singers have done while pregnant, feel free to congratulate all of your faves that are mothers, even if they didn't necessarily show it in a video or so, just by sharing pictures of them while pregnant or with their children. Even Britney, Shakira and Beyoncé have more we can share from these and their other pregnancies.

so I'm gonna add these Mexican singers, Mariana Ochoa and Lidia Ávila, members of OV7, which were both pregnant around the same time, TWICE lol and they kept touring almost until they were due, especially Mariana who was still performing literally just days before she gave birth

It was also especially hard for them because the record label released the group when both of them were pregnant the first time, so they had to continue solo. Here in 2014, they released this music video when hey were both pregnant the first time (it was actually Lidia's second child, but her first-born daughter sadly passed away in 2009, at six months of age, due to a rare congenital condition).

 

And then in 2015, they were touring along with their frenemy group, Kabah, and we can see them pregnant again on the DVD they released in 2015. They were still doing the full choreo and everything. They say they would just run to the side of the stage to throw up when they would get sick, and continue with the show They always had their doctors accompanying them at every date.

 

 

 

In 2019, another member of the group, Erika Zaba got pregnant during the 90's Pop Tour. However, due to the high risk of her pregnancy, she couldn't do the same as her bandmates, and she had to step out of the tour due the doctor's recommendations. However, she did perform one time as a special guest

 

 

As part of the 90's Pop Tour, Angie Taddei from the group JNS was also pregnant, and her pregnancy got captured in the second DVD they released in 2018:

Was going to post a very shady gif, but I'll keep it cute because it's Mother's Day.  I still can't get over Katy being pregnant last year; it still feels surreal to me that she's a mom now. Can't wait for Rih, Gaga, Ariana, and Kesha to become moms someday.
