  1. Wrong. Dark Horse was released right after this and went #01. I would say it was Birthday and This Is How We Do.
  2. I was really invested when the trailer came out, but after the release, I am kinda favouring the bad reviews from critics. I still want to see it though.
  3. 8 years ago, Katy Perry released Unconditionally as the second promotional single from her third studio album PRISM. The ballad peaked within the top twenty in the US, where it has been certified 2X Platinum, and has 300 million streams on Spotify and over 600 million views on YouTube. The ode ventures on Perry's roots as the power ballad leans more to her Christian rock influence, accompanied by motivational lyricism. The music video was later released and is regarded as Perry's one of the best among her videography, while the cover art is inspired by the tragic suicide case of Evelyn McHale. She also revealed that Unconditionally is her favourite track off her 2013's record.
  4. If did listen to it, thrice. But it's just... bland. There's a build up right before the chorus, but the hook itself isn't as explosive like she used to with All I Ask or Rolling In The Deep for instance. Her style and genre isn't really my thing, but I'm still rooting for some dramatic anthem from her.
  5. Obviously, Nicki. I love some Minaj, but her personality is just garbage. I can already imagine her throwing another tantrum and diss tracks to Doja, Megan and Cardi since her future releases are gonna tank. Expect another album where she plays the victim and position herself as another female patriot against bully, where she's the biggest bully in the industry.
  6. The Martin-Gould-Perry tandem is something else. But Katy's past with that already. Still wishing for a comeback collaboration though.
  7. Weird, Teenage Dream just has its 251th week on BC200 recently, 11 years after the album's release.
  8. Katy's doing her OWN residency, why she has to mention Britney? Britney's liberation and recovery is on the way, then wait for her OWN show. Also, if the two indeed carried over that shady history, Britney could have easily un-followed Katy with her un-following spree on Instagram. Well guess what? They still followed each other.
  9. She shaded Britney, which was indeed uncultured, before she did the livestream on YouTube for her fans. I can't understand your bitterness whereas Katy's trying to make amends with her past actions. Katy, alongside with Mariah, Miley, Paris and other artists have already started a legal fund behind the scenes. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/britney-spears-list-army-set-24468412.amp I know your losing your s—t, so keep pressed.
  10. Charlie Puth really did a good job with the production. Imagine if Harleys In Hawaii were released right after Never Really Over, instead of that Small Tank.
  11. The girl has literally had a record dedicated to healing and self-motivation. I won't judge if your music taste revolves around getting laid and narcissism.
  12. Katy Perry has a good week. Right after the news of her worth of a million(s) investment with the streaming platform, Audius, her fifth studio album, Smile, has finally reached the 1 billion mark of streams on Spotify, making all of her albums to have more than a billion streams each. With this, Perry now joins Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus as the only female artists to spawn albums with 1 billion streams in 3 different decades. Notably, Teenage Dream has become the 13th album with the most weeks charted by a female act in UK, completing its 198th week. The sophomore album has re-entered and had its 250th week on Billboard Chart 200 as well. The 2019 sleeper hit, Harleys In Hawaii, also saw an overwhelming streaming gain as it becomes Perry’s most popular song on Spotify currently, beating her smash hits like Dark Horse, Roar, Firework and Never Really Over.
  13. My winker down there is hairless, but I really like my forearms.
  14. I'm getting Never Really Over vibes with the music video. However, the song isn't as strong for the first listen, more like Billie's Your Power.
  15. So true, defending Katy during that era was really exhausting.
  16. This is kinda mutual, I was also having mental breakdown that year.
  17. “Witness' 4th Year Anniversary” On June 9, 2017, Katy Perry released her fourth studio album, Witness. The record explores the themes of self-empowerment and ***ual freedom. It debuted at No.1 on Billboard Chart 200 with 180K units, sold 804K adjusted units worldwide by the end of 2017 and [now] with over 4 million units. The accompanying concert tour, Witness: The World Tour, with 115 shows that ended in 2018, grossed $124.2 million. The album has more than 6.5 billion cumulative streams, whereas on YouTube it garnered 4.5 billion views and 1.2 billion streams on Spotify. Despite the poor reception, it became one of the fastest female albums to top the US iTunes within 10 minutes and spawned hit singles like the Top 10 debut Chained To The Rhythm, the viral Swish Swish and the controversial Bon Appétit. Thoughts and favorites?
  18. Kinda curious why Britney Jean is mostly on Shelf It tier. Guess I'm gonna give it a listen to find out.
