I just tested positive for COVID

I was feeling a bit under the weather so I decided to get a covid rapid test before heading into work. Turns out I'm positive and will be isolating for the next 14 days. I'm really scared guys. 

Have any of you guys tested positive? What was your covid experience?

You'll be fine dont worry. If youre young, the chances are you will just have regular mild flu symptoms and if youre lucky you might even be asymptomatic just dont panic

Take care.  Eat lots of chicken noodle soup or boil chicken and drink the broth (bone broth is good against flu viruses).  Stay hydrated.

If you are young and below 50-60 you should be ok. My mom had it and got pretty bad but shes in her 50’s. My cousin and her partner got it. He was asymptomatic and she had mild symptoms. Def monitor your symptoms and if you have breathing problems go to the doctor.

Look after yourself and if you feel worse notify someone so they can monitor your symptoms and there increase/decline!

Thank you, honey! I'm lucky to live in the US and to have health insurance so I'm hoping things will turn out ok for me.

I recovered from COVID a little after Thanksgiving. Stay hydrated, sleep and take your Vitamins.

Don’t be scared. The vast majority of people feel like **** for 3-7 days with a few less severe days before and after its peak, some hardly feel bad at all, and for others it lasts a mere day or two. Everyone is different. Unless you have other medical complications, your risk of anything more than feeling like absolute **** for a week is likely very, very low. Many regions in the US right now are experiencing huge spikes, but even so, people in my community are nearly all be discharged home from the ER and told isolate and take Tylenol/Motrin for fever or body aches.
 

I’m not a doctor. If you are concerned your symptoms are unmanageable at home you should seek one.
