This Day in Pop: Britney introduces K-Fed to the world at the Teen Choice Awards 2006 (August 20)

The 2006 Teen Choice Awards ceremony was held on August 20, 2006, at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal City, California. The show was hosted by Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson, who introduced a heavily pregnant Britney, to present the last performer of the night, her then husband and father of her two children, Kevin Federline. "K-Fed" performed his debut single Lose Control. Other performers of the night were Nelly Furtado and Rihanna.

 

 

Looking back at how happy and proud she seemed at the time, it's kinda crazy when you realize that just a little bit more than 2 months later, and just 8 weeks after her son Jayden was born, she would file for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

Yea the two months later seems Insane. And that less that 1.5 years later she would be deemed so mentally unwell that she would lose all her rights as a human. What a load of BS.

Second hand embarrassment. It was awkward during those times having Kevin forced down our throats. Their VMA appearance via video link was embarrassing too.
