What songs/groups got you into Kpop?

the first time I heard of Kpop it was with Run devil run, mr simple and the boys ... but for some stupid reason I felt nerdy listening to kpop (I was 14 years old). Gangnam style and gentleman of his time, but not to become a fan of the genre.

In 2019 I started listening to BoA, specifically her Japanese album released in 2018 (I love track 2). 

Then I started with Hyuna with the song Babe

I discovered Blackpink and there was no going back, I was already a kpop fan and it was the best musical decision ever made

Which album should I listen to first? 

BoA's career goes through a period. His best songs are between 2002-2005 (his first albums (2000/2001) are good but very childish, after all he was 13 years old ).
 I think there was a drop in his music between 2006 and 2010, although it has notable tracks, Japanese music back then is very different to western tastes 
 His music between hurracaine venus (2010) and 2018 is impeccable, fun and good quality records although I feel that his last ep, "Starry Night", left much to be desired. 
 I recommend that you see this promotional concert of his compilation "best of soul" where he sings 100% live and also sings (there he was only 19 years old and already had a 5-year career with 6 Korean and 5 Japanese albums).

Heard about K-pop, and i listened to a few songs, but though they where ok. It wasn’t until I heard this song that I became a fan (mostly of just the group) lol

I think kpop music it’s cool but my body is just not ready. I don’t deserve them. Omg, and they are f gorgeous.

Hahaha I knew someone was gonna be like that’s a lot of favorites for not being into Kpop  I went to college with a predominantly high Asian population so my friends introduced me to these songs. And Kpop is just pop in Korean
