Exhale's pop anniversaries calendar is lit! 

Yesterday we celebrated the release of "Pretty Girls," which caught the attention of Iggy Azalea and caused a little controversy. 

Today in our ongoing 'This Day In Pop' series is Britney's performance at the World Music Awards on May 5, 1999.

Huge shout-out to @PokemonSpears for adding this flawless anniversary! It's also pretty fun to look back on this iconic but slightly forgotten-about performance. The black wig is iconic.
