As much as I was disappointed in it when it premiered (it’s a STRANGE choice for second single), the song has grown on me throughout the years. Britney sounds phenomenal, the production is cute, and the music video is gorgeous (despite not being the original concept).

but seriously. The song should’ve been saved for single #4. I think if done right, BJ could’ve been a hit. Yeah, it got very lukewarm reviews from not just fans but critics, but my friends and other non stans I know enjoy the nonsingles when I play them.

I like Perfume! And the music video isn’t that bad. Okay I get it may not be the original concept but it’s a ballad, you can’t expect it to have a killer video like Toxic

Little interest I had in Britney Jean and Perfume, is 2020 and I just found out that she was the current girlfriend and guy was still in love with his ex-girlfriend, or so she thought.

Now I like the video a little more, although I still watch it short if she wanted to tell a story.
