Lynne met Sam first through a friend of hers to talk about some business deal. The deal fell through but he eventually got in touch with Britney and the rest is history.

Britney actually did hire him. I once saw the text message contract. But he did not care for her well enough. He and Ghalib should have made sure she'd actually enter the courtroom (by the back entrance) and never miss a date. Did he do so, she would never have lost custody.
