Confused by album sales?

I thought Britney sold a lot but according to this list Rihanna, Taylor swift, Gaga etc outsold her!? I thought her first album sold more than all of their sales combined?! Im so confused.. and i mean worldwide sales

Idk I'm also confused. Britney has 84M certified album sales so there's no way she's sold only 77M records ( albums+singles)

Why is it saying 43M records in the US for her?

I edited my post. I said that because I was confused by the 43M records figure in the US for Britney. That looks like albums only or something.

you shouldn't care about it Britney has 150+ million records sold and it's a fact

Total - 33.255M

When I add some single sales, for example those from 2008-2009:

Womanizer - 3.5M

Circus - 2.9M

If You Seek Amy - 1.3M

3 - 2.4M

Total: 10.1M

33.255M + 10.1M = 43.355M

So when you add the single sales from BOMT, Toxic, Blackout, Femme Fatale and Britney Jean, the records total should be way higher than 43.7M

There's no way the US records number is correct! Wikipedia is a bad source!

I've only paid for about 10 albums/records in my life. 

about 6 of those are Britney Spears. So in my book, she's sold more than any of them. 

call me delusional but the money I spend is what really matters to me

She has 84M albums WW with 33.3M in the US so we have already 70M + 50.7M = 120.7M records already without counting the singles she sold outside of the US.

As the years go by it feels like media's version of Britney's career changes. There were even a few times I've seen on mainstream talk shows conversations about how Britney never really was known for dancing lol
