  1. According to Deadline, Selena is currently working on her next album in Los Angeles. What sound do you want to hear from her?
  2. “Thank you for all you’re doing to lift the burden off of people who have problems with their mental health— who feel lost, who are not sure what to do, and sometimes they’re ashamed to acknowledge they have anything that’s bothering them.” — President Biden to Selena Gomez
  3. It’s just been announced that Selena Gomez will make her debut as host of this weeks SNL! She’s previously been the musical guest but never been given the opportunity to host the entire show. I think she has great comedic timing and will kill it! Musical guest this week is Post Malone. Will Exhale be watching Selena and Post this Saturday?!
  4. As I've said, I'm done with EPs. However, I am taking Cassie's advice and branching out making and submitting demos for other artists than Britney Spears. I have crafted four new instrumentals. Two for Selena and two for Kim. They are very clubby and Pop sounding. Still rough cuts but just to give the idea of what I'm working on long term. Selena Gomez Demo Submissions: Disco Ball (w JayTawndré) No Apologies (w JayTawndré) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kim Petras Demo Submissions: Shatter Lapdance --‐--------------‐------------------ I've also dropped the instrumental to my upcoming song I Am A King 🤴 And finally the theme song to my docuseries JT Chronicles (a I Am A King B-side) Thoughts?
  5. If Britney recorded a Selena Gomez song from her album revival that inspired britney’s glory, which song would be perfect for her?
  6. beyonce's vocals are weak, tbh. selena gomez' vocals always stable. this beyonce girl is not even a worthy competition to selena's fingertips alone. poor selena carrying the music industry on her back. there's a reason beyonce didn't sing Good for You, Hands To Myself or Bad Liar. And that reason being a lack of vocal prowess that Selena possesses. she can literally replicate air conditioning with her voice. her fainting breathe technique is yet to be explored by any other vocalists in music history. breathe if you agree.
  7. Selena Gomez got a brand new tat from celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang https://pagesix.com/2021/12/15/selena-gomez-debuts-large-upper-back-tattoo/amp/ What could it mean? Update: We got a much clearer pic of the tat!!
  8. Rumour is that this will be the first song to drop from the alleged Glory B sides release. The song title was revealed in September amongst 11 other songs that were added in the RCA books. It turns out it's a song from 2016 that's been remixed and features new vocals from Selena Gomez. The song is produced by Mattman & Robin that did most of Glory. Is this really happening? https://selenagomez.fandom.com/wiki/Beauty_Sleep This song is on genius lyrics: https://genius.com/Britney-spears-beauty-sleep-lyrics
  9. I'm a guy from Colombia and I grew up listening to music in Spanish and English, and I learned English thanks to listening to artists like Britney, Xtina, Beyonce, Gaga....but I've always wondered if those who don't speak Spanish likes any song in Spanish and have learned itWhat do you think about the songs in Spanish that artists who also sing in English like Xtina, Shakira, Jlo, Selena Gomez or Camila Cabello sing, do you like any of them and have you learned to sing them?
  10. What's your favorite Selena Gomez first single off her albums?
  11. Selena Gomez and Camilo dropped a vibrant music video for "999." Thoughts, Exhale?
  12. Record labels for decades, pitted artists against each other, and fanbase's were left to decide who they wanted to rep. So my question is concerning 2020's- we have teen queens but no rivalries in the same way have in the past. Are the record label's educed comparisons over, or are teen artists for the time being, just not prevalent? Or are there other reason this generation doesn't have a two girl rivalry? 1980's Debbie Gibson and Tiffany 1990's Brandy and Monica Early 2000's Britney & Christina Aguilera Mid to late 2000's Hilary and Lindsay Lohan 2010's Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus 2020's ...Who? Billie Eilish versus Olivia Rodrigo? Billie and Oliva do not talk crap on eachother and the media doesnt pit them against eachother even tho they both do alternative/rock/pop music and are 18 and 19. They are the biggest teen singers right now but the media hasn't pitted them against eachother like they have with other young female singers before. So do you think the media are done making rivalries? Can and SHOULD women that may appear to be in the same lane, be able to be just as successful as their "rival"?
  13. Selena Gomez has collaborated with her friend Theresa Mingus and her business partner, Morgan Brutocao, on a new swimsuit line for their company, La'Mariette. Per a press release, the line “is all about inclusivity, body positivity and celebrating the fact that all bodies are beautiful.” “The Aura print is inspired by Selena, her aura shines through in everything she does and we want everyone else to feel that sort of transformative feeling of being their most authentic self,” Brutocao said in the press release. “Selena’s confidence is unmatched and being able to design a print with her which embodies that is so rewarding.” This is not the first time Gomez has been associated with La'Mariette. Last summer, she shared a photo of herself wearing a blue suit from the swimwear company with the following caption: “When I got my kidney transplant, I remember it being very difficult at first showing my scar. I didn’t want it to be in photos, so I wore things that would cover it up. Now, more than ever, I feel confident in who I am and what I went through...and I’m proud of that. T - Congratulations on what you’re doing for women, launching @lamariette whose message is just that...all bodies are beautiful.” The new line from Gomez ranges fro $49-$119 and is sold exclusively on la'mariette.com. 14. Olivia Rodrigo is making sure to keep her music career 'separate' from her life as a Disney star. The "Drivers License" singer, opened up about her path during a Q&A for Nylon, telling the magazine how she is trying to break from the child star stereotypes. 'I'm very aware of that classic "Disney pop girl" archetype,' she said when asked about how stars like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez's music became 'tethered' to the family friendly entertainment juggernaut. 'My music is definitely separate from my acting in a way I always dreamed would happen,' Olivia went on. She's been grateful for how many new fans she's earned since the song's release back in January, saying: "When "Drivers License" came out, everyone was like, "I have no idea who this Olivia Rodrigo girl is, but I love this song. That is the absolute dream for me, because I've always wanted to be taken seriously as a songwriter. Being an actor can interfere with that, just because being an actor is based on telling lies, and being a songwriter is based on telling the absolute, whole truth," she explained. But Olivia, who rose to fame on the Disney+ favorite High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, said she isn't trying to reject her roots, only be true to herself. '...People always ask me, "Oh, did you say f/**k in Drivers License to show that you aren't just a Disney star?" It's cool that people might think that, but I'm just making music that I love and that I feel passionate about,' she continued. 'It's who I am. I have a dirty mouth. It was what felt natural and good to me, and people resonated with that. And Rodrigo said that while she's proud to be influencing artists to be independent, it was never her main goal. 'If I am ushering in a new generation of pop stars that aren't afraid to speak their mind, that's so cool. I'm just doing my thing, though.'
  15. Some snippets of a supposed unreleased duet version of Selena Gomez song "Vicio" (from her EP Revelación) has surfaced. Some people claim the feature is the estonian singer Kerli. I have read that some people say this version would be included as a remix on a re-release of the EP. Here is a YouTube video with the snippets. What do y'all think? Related:
  16. I was listening through Selena’s impecable catalogue and came across “Spotlight” off her iconic “A year without rain” album. This is such a pop gem, contagious, and fun. Selena is such a queen !! What’s your all time fave selegend song ?
