  1. Selena Gomez has collaborated with her friend Theresa Mingus and her business partner, Morgan Brutocao, on a new swimsuit line for their company, La'Mariette. Per a press release, the line “is all about inclusivity, body positivity and celebrating the fact that all bodies are beautiful.” “The Aura print is inspired by Selena, her aura shines through in everything she does and we want everyone else to feel that sort of transformative feeling of being their most authentic self,” Brutocao said in the press release. “Selena’s confidence is unmatched and being able to design a print with her which embodies that is so rewarding.” This is not the first time Gomez has been associated with La'Mariette. Last summer, she shared a photo of herself wearing a blue suit from the swimwear company with the following caption: “When I got my kidney transplant, I remember it being very difficult at first showing my scar. I didn’t want it to be in photos, so I wore things that would cover it up. Now, more than ever, I feel confident in who I am and what I went through...and I’m proud of that. T - Congratulations on what you’re doing for women, launching @lamariette whose message is just that...all bodies are beautiful.” The new line from Gomez ranges fro $49-$119 and is sold exclusively on la'mariette.com. 2. Olivia Rodrigo is making sure to keep her music career 'separate' from her life as a Disney star. The "Drivers License" singer, opened up about her path during a Q&A for Nylon, telling the magazine how she is trying to break from the child star stereotypes. 'I'm very aware of that classic "Disney pop girl" archetype,' she said when asked about how stars like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez's music became 'tethered' to the family friendly entertainment juggernaut. 'My music is definitely separate from my acting in a way I always dreamed would happen,' Olivia went on. She's been grateful for how many new fans she's earned since the song's release back in January, saying: "When "Drivers License" came out, everyone was like, "I have no idea who this Olivia Rodrigo girl is, but I love this song. That is the absolute dream for me, because I've always wanted to be taken seriously as a songwriter. Being an actor can interfere with that, just because being an actor is based on telling lies, and being a songwriter is based on telling the absolute, whole truth," she explained. But Olivia, who rose to fame on the Disney+ favorite High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, said she isn't trying to reject her roots, only be true to herself. '...People always ask me, "Oh, did you say f/**k in Drivers License to show that you aren't just a Disney star?" It's cool that people might think that, but I'm just making music that I love and that I feel passionate about,' she continued. 'It's who I am. I have a dirty mouth. It was what felt natural and good to me, and people resonated with that. And Rodrigo said that while she's proud to be influencing artists to be independent, it was never her main goal. 'If I am ushering in a new generation of pop stars that aren't afraid to speak their mind, that's so cool. I'm just doing my thing, though.'
  3. Some snippets of a supposed unreleased duet version of Selena Gomez song "Vicio" (from her EP Revelación) has surfaced. Some people claim the feature is the estonian singer Kerli. I have read that some people say this version would be included as a remix on a re-release of the EP. Here is a YouTube video with the snippets. What do y'all think? Related:
  4. I was listening through Selena’s impecable catalogue and came across “Spotlight” off her iconic “A year without rain” album. This is such a pop gem, contagious, and fun. Selena is such a queen !! What’s your all time fave selegend song ?
  5. So the platinium is back and time is for the Blondes battle, So who does it better? Billie Or Selena P.S: Billie Lunched the trend first so this will become the rule going forward .... gosh too much platinium coming, Where's my wig?
  6. Selena Gomez is officially blonde! She also confirms she's back to work. Selena is releasing a new album this year. Billie Eilish could nev... wait. Related:
  7. In Pop Music there has been many women who come and go but few stay and leave a legacy. We have Madonna, Janet, Mariah, Britney, GaGa, but who is the next girl that deserves to have a track/ live performance with the Queen and the Princess (Madge and Brit Brit)? Vote and say why you think the one girl deserves it?
  8. I see there’s no thread for this already, but Selena Gomez’s Spanish-language EP, Revelación, is officially out! The songs seem to be pretty short, gonna take a listen now. Related:
  9. Selena Gomez admits her career in music isn't going as planned. She's considering retiring. It's worth mentioning she's releasing a Spanish-language EP titled Revelación and is reportedly working on an English-language album as well. Here's a new excerpt from her interview with Vogue: Thoughts, Exhale? Related:
  10. A week before the release of her Spanish EP 'Revelación', Selena Gomez will release another single (March 4) which features DJ Snake, whom she collaborated with previously on "Taki Taki". It's titled "Selfish Love." The music video is out now! Are you excited about the new EP? Related:

  12. Selena Gomez will release a Spanish-language album titled Revelación on March 12th. However, Internet insiders also claim she's working on an English-language album as well. This person on Twitter accurately has accurately predicted other things in the past. Two albums this year? Only the hardest working woman in the business! Exhale, are you excited for one of these projects? Both? None? Sound off. Related:
  13. Being that Selena Gomez has been such an obvious die hard fan of Britney’s, why do you think she hasn’t spoken up like other celebs in light of the “Framing Britney” documentary? It’s quite possible she has and I just haven’t seen it so please correct me if I’m wrong. I know I’ve seen posts on here about why Madonna (queen of speaking up) and Christina haven’t said anything, but I’m particularly curious about Selena. I have a feeling Madonna had to sign and NDA when Brit was featured in the “Human Nature” back drop video for the tour and that’s why we haven’t heard from her. Otherwise she’s be all over it for the publicity and I do genuinely believe she cares about Britney. I’m also wondering if Selena's staying hush hush just bc she’s trying to respect her privacy like she so desperately wishes others would do for her. I see a lot of similarities between their careers and public persona. They both have had it pretty hard with the media scrutiny so I feel like Selena can definitely relate. Let me know if you agree or disagree and why in the comments! Look forward to hearing everyone else’s thoughts! And as always keep it nice kids! Xo
  14. Look who owns their masters now. None other than Selena Gomez.. Revelation her upcoming Spanish EP, lists in the copyrights that it's owned by Selena Gomez and is under exclusive license to interscope records. Looks like all singles and both Revival and Rare also went to her as they both changed owners and is now licensed to Interscope records. Congrats Selena Gomez, the first ex act to actually own their catalog..
  15. beyonce's vocals are weak, tbh. selena gomez' vocals always stable. this beyonce girl is not even a worthy competition to selena's fingertips alone. poor selena carrying the music industry on her back. there's a reason beyonce didn't sing Good for You, Hands To Myself or Bad Liar. And that reason being a lack of vocal prowess that Selena possesses. she can literally replicate air conditioning with her voice. her fainting breathe technique is yet to be explored by any other vocalists in music history. breathe if you agree.
  16. Selena Gomez opens up about feeling pressured to be more adult during the Revival era. She made the revelation in her new interview with Allure. "I just did things that weren't really me," she says. She continues, choosing her words more deliberately: "There was pressure to seem more adult on my album, Revival. [I felt] the need to show skin... I really don't think I was [that] person." I'm surprised tbh. Why do artists like to sling dirt on their past eras. Exhale, thoughts on Selena's statement about Revival? Related:
  17. Selena Gomez. I have very strong and founded doubts regarding her singing abilities, but a studio and a computer can work wonders for a persons voice "A Year Without Rain" and "Good For You" are undeniably GEMS that deserve appreciation. I LOVE the dream-pop vibe. A Year Without Rain was very out of place in a Disney Channel era album, but its so deep and beautiful. Good For You sounds like Im listening to a song while in a dream. Its so atmospheric! They both are! Does anyone else love these songs? *Bonus question- does anyone else love these songs while thinking Selena Gomez is not a good singer?
  18. Selena Gomez might have a Spanish-language visual project in the works. Check out this excerpt from her new interview with Billboard: In a totally separate article, Billboard had this to say regarding Interscope CEO John Janick: Not Billboard letting it slip like that Exhale, are we here for a Selena Gomez visual album?! If true of course.
  19. Saved by the Bell re-launched, and in one of the new episodes, they poke fun of Selena Gomez's kidney transplant. “I know for a fact that Selena Gomez’s kidney donor was Justin Bieber’s mom,” one girl tells her friend. “God I wish that I had my phone so I could prove it.” The other character says: “Prove what? That you’re an idiot? It was Demi Lovato’s kidney. They’re best friends like you and I were.” In a separate scene, there is graffiti written on a wall that reads, "Does Selena Gomes even have a kidney?" NBC issued an apology and are donating to her charity. Like, WHO approved this? Trash
