  1. She defined the female Rap game. She is the original avant garde MC. Her music and sound is ahead of it's time. She's a platinum selling artist who has written and produced so many songs for so many amazing Pop and R&B artists including Ciara, Monica, Faith Evans, Aaliyah, Jazmine Sullivan, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, Britney Spears and many more. We love a Hip-Hop icon. 👑 What's your favorite album of hers? Mine? The Cookbook. Let's talk Misdemeanor Elliott 💅💅💅??? Who do you see her collaborating with in the future? For me I see a Normani, Chlöe, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Ella Mai collaboration next. You? next up, fave videos? 👀 Worth posting thrice? 😃@Slayerplease can you delete these two extra Lose Control Missy video links I don't know how to do it lol 😆!!
  2. Who approved this?! Camila Cabello and Missy Elliott are teaming up for a cover of Beyonce's iconic "Single Ladies." It'll be featured in the live adaptation of Cinderella. Camila is starring as Cinderella. Update: Apparently she's also covering JLo's "Let's Get Loud" and Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation." A mess. Related:
  3. Missy is featured on a new track with Bree Runway titled ATM. It is a good song and we finally get a good rhyme out of Missy. Her features have felt kind of flat lately and her lyrics were cringe at best (I'm looking at you Lizzo Ft Missy Elliott & Janet Jackson Ft Missy). But this time she deliver a fresh track that could've easily landed on her album Under Construction or the Cookbook. Thoughts exhale?
  4. Dua Lipa released Future Nostalgia remix album titled Club Future Nostalgia. Blessed Madonna produced it. Gwen Stefani guest features on the remix of "Physical," which is getting remixed by Mark Ronson. The Levitating remix features Madonna and Missy Elliott. Stevie Nicks is also featured. During her recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dua said “we’re doing an animation for every single song on the record” Yasssssss it’s #DUASZN ladies and gents. Are you excited?! Listen below. Thoughts, Exhale?! *The album debuted at 28 on the Billboard 200 I was hoping these would count towards the first albums sales Watch the visual album below! Related:
  5. Dua Lipa just released a sprawling remix of "Levitating" featuring Madonna and Missy Elliott. I’m so excited that Levitating is getting the attention it deserves The beat is sooo sick and Madonna's and Missy's contributions are impeccable. The video is out soon. This is gonna break records, mark my words Related:
  6. Dua Lipa dropped a new music video for the "Levitating" remix, featuring Madonna, Missy Elliott and Blessed Madonna. In it, Dua and a bunch of her peers join forces to honor a higher power possessed by the moon, even taking a trip to the stars. Madonna doesn't make a cameo in the music video, but Missy Elliott does. Watch below: Related:
  7. Mya teases a "Lady Marmalade" reunion to celebrate the iconic track's 20th anniversary in 2021. "Next year’s the 20th anniversary so I hope we have a reunion together. I’m sure we’ll get together and do something and I’m hoping it’ll be on stage or television, that’d be amazing," she tells Metro. "I’m not sure how that would work to get four, well five because Missy Elliott was involved as well, that’s a lot of budget and we’re in different times and so are the labels." She also reflected on the creation process: "I remember the first time cutting my background vocals and we were all recording in the same exact studio. ‘All the ladies recorded their background vocals there and then we did our solo parts separately on different days – and different states, I’m sure. ‘After that process was complete we headed to the rehearsal studio to begin the filming of the video for Tia Landon, one of Janet Jackson’s big choreographers. We received a Grammy which was awesome and that was kind of it! We did the song one more time after that at Wango Tango California and ran into each other on tours etc." Exhale, are we here for a reunion? Or is it too cheesy? Sound off.
  8. Queens unite! Toni Braxton taps Missy Elliott for a remix of "Do It." It's the slinky, mid-tempo nostalgic power ballad(?) the world needed. On it, Toni and Missy sing about leaving an unhealthy, abusive relationship. It's kind of a shame the Internet didn't light up over this, but Exhale to the rescue! THESE ARE LIVING LEGENDS YALL Listen below. Do we like? Related:
