  1. Another thing, I can't be too hard on Britney because at least her kids are safe and not with her. But are there any medical professionals in her fan base or on this board? Do people not realize when you are bipolar and in a manic phase, you can lose all of your faculties in terms of what is right or wrong? This can be something as dangerous as high-speed driving, and weaving in and out of traffic without realizing the danger of your actions! Or careless and risky s**, without understanding the consequences of your actions in the moment. Or excess spending, and then realize that you've blown all of your money. You can literally have no guard rails or safety mechanisms. People like to yass queen her and feel like she's enjoying her freedom, but she seems to be a woman suffering from her own untreated mental illness. This is not happiness.
  2. I would tell her the truth and we probably wouldn’t be friends after telling her. She needs tough love. if she thinks her IG is a representation of perfection I can’t imagine what we don’t see! On IG you usually put your best face forward.
  3. I feel incredibly conflicted about Britney. I guess I’ll just write my thoughts and feelings even if it contradicts and makes no sense. In some ways she inspired me to come out during her 2007 breakdown. People forget how absolutely brutal the press was to her. It was actually horrific. And honestly I feel like she’s worse now than she was then because at the time she still had her kids and seemed like she wanted to be a mother. But with how brutal the press was to her and just see her continue living her life and almost being like F the cameras - I was like if Britney can make it through 2007, I can make it! She was an incredibly dynamic performer - and brought so much joy through her music and performance. It’s unfortunate because she seemed very resilient and the type who could handle fame. But if I’m being honest she’s made a lot of horrible choices, and I have no idea who this current Britney is. The old Britney is literally dead. I respected her when she spoke up during her conservatorship court hearing. I don’t idolize her now. That’s all I know. I would perhaps respect her again if at some point a lucid Britney were to grow and reflect on her past and acknowledge her poor decisions.
  4. Stop blaming the victim? She absolutely deserves to be blamed for her bad behavior. She's doing exactly what she wants because she's going back to who she was before anyone tried to get involved (55-hour marriage to Jason Alexander, going after married or taken dead-beat men - Adnan was married, Kevin shar was pregnant, now this). There's a difference between understanding someone's behavior and accepting it. No one has to accept her behavior. And she is a public figure, who very much wants to be in the public eye with her drama (if she doesn't then she should stop responding to EVERY little thing about her in the press - like Justin's comments which probably had nothing to do with her).
  5. Celebrity s**, dr**s and death: Inside the infamous Chateau Marmont NYPOST.COM Of all the jaw-dropping things — movie-star affairs, secret parties and tragedies of many stripes — that... The Chateau Marmont - where Britney was staying.
  6. I don’t think she needed a full conservatorship of person and finances and she should’ve known she had a right to her own attorney. The conservatorship perhaps should’ve been temporary and even the critics of it on the family side think it went on for too long. But she definitely needs some assistance. She looked more stable and together during the conservatorship. She was actually able to perform, see her kids, have stable romantic relationships and still work. I don’t think people realize that medicine, when it works, can be a miracle for people with mental health issues when they work. She certainly shouldn’t be without some guidance or support (most normal and healthy people need this).
  7. People aren’t going to want to hear this but he would never be anywhere near her if a conservatorship was in place. This is the price of fame and freedom. Britney has the freedom to make her own choices even if they’re self-destructive and harmful to her. I think this is the way she wants it. I recall some interview where she said something like she’d rather be on the mountain cliff in the I’m a Girl video rather than the shark put in Work B because at least she has the freedom to jump if she chooses or something like that. This was during the Femme Fatale era.
  8. Did you read her book? She said she poses this way (free) on IG because she’s so used to having other people tell her how to look and pose. She now gets to do it however she wants (on her IG).
  9. I don’t see this happening. Maybe for one song. But Camila is strong on streaming. She has hits. Senorita and Havana have over 2 billion streams, Bam Bam is on its way to 1 billion. She performed at the UEFA opening ceremony. She’s not a flop. Normani has a lot of potential and hits under her belt. Lauren is practically a raging antisemite at the moment. I only see this benefitting Ally and Dinah who really don’t have careers.
