Apple Music with AirPods works just fine. YouTube rips lower the quality but they get the job done. A lot more of the production shines through with DA. There were actually a lot of vocals I hadn’t heard before and they turned Myah’s BGV down on TTB. They used a Britney vocal outtake for the chorus of BMS. It wasn’t bad

I have good headphones that support surround sound, but all the instruments are so quiet and indistinct including the vocals

Work B - the POM version is ok

Alien -mostly ok

Perfume - cringy lyrics but ok

Don’t Cry - This song is fine

The rest is pretty bad…

 

And honestly, it’s f.c.k.n.g insulting when people rank this album higher than …Baby One More Time.

it's an awful album. it's a blemish on her discography.

the dolby atmos versions of her album are tragically bad. dolby atmos is literally just a gimmick to trick low iq people to pay for apple music. Bluetooth (airpods/airpod pro) does not support high fidelity either.

Exactly. Glory is such a bland album imho.

The album isn’t the worst thing on the planet like a lot of people make it out to be, but it has a few gems, especially Perfume. I think the reason why that song is hated is because of the mark my territory line, but honestly it isn’t a bad ballad and imo, is one of her best vocally since forever.

Like listen to her vocals and just her vocals without the backing vocals and the instrumental and you can tell it’s one of her best.

I remember making a thread with this version. You definitely know she sang this song in its entirety with no Myah. Sia is present, but she always is in every song she writes. 

Tbh I think she had a fun time recording Perfume. She got to show off her vocals more, something as I said she hadn’t done in a while.

I agree about Britney’s vocals on Perfume, she nailed it. However, I don’t like the BJ photoshoot… at all!

It’s useless to discuss whether Britney Jean is a bad album or not because it’s not a Britney album. It’s not her voice there, somebody else is singing, so why bother discussing it? And by the way, it’s a terrible album.

The album aged too fast (dated). Listening now is even worse. Such a horrible album for a perfect pop discography. Makes me kinda mad tbh

WB is a fun song, but that's the only song I stand now. Can understand the love for Perfume and Alien tho, I was one of them, but not anymore.

It’s a great album to run to. No hate for Britney Jean imo.
