It was desperate, attention seeking and vulgar.

However I did like the music from this album.

YES Wrecking Ball is one of the best songs ever i agree actually.

Yeah its a lovely song overshadowed by that tacky video.

I don't have anything against female singers expressing their sxualities through music but the way Miley did it was grotesque.

I actually love the video I found it very artsy fartsy, better than we can’t stop in Oprah’s opinion

I didn’t mind the song and video. I actually like the song and have it on my Spotify. Same with Wrecking Ball, the song is good and the video is iconic.

Idk why people are clutching their pearls over both videos, especially since our fave and many, many, MANY others have done similar stuff in their videos, so idk what the problem is. Maybe I just don’t really care…idk. It could be the most out there music video and it just doesn’t bother me. If it works, it works lol!

Soncially when it came out in 2013 I  thought it sounded like a Rihanna demo reject from 2009 or 2010. 

The video was peak cringe.  I think the Bart Baker parody is 🔥

The controversy wasn't so much that she was being too se*uall but because a Disney star whose Tween fans were now teens was bragging about and encouraging *rug use. 

She was so desperate in that era, like Madonna rebel heart era desperate. 

 

HOWEVER. I **** with wrecking ball. 

Miley can sing and I wish she made more songs like wrecking ball in that era rather than desperately trying to give parents of her fans aneurisms.
