I think that folks couldn't appreciate or understand the sound and people are taking another listen to them in hindsight. 
 

……as for the two Christina albums. 

Maybe someone is using them in a torture chamber on repeat.

I only said that is not a flop, i don't like the album and i think the same about the cover like you said but the songs don't have a concept either. Along with Prism, Witness and Smile the one that i like is Witness.
