This is nothing rude and she herself explains that this is a coping mecanism she started to do during conservatorship because all of her rights were stripped from her. Which means a side affect of the trauma she received during those years and she try to get rid of it. Seriously, did you read the book? 
she can’t do an interview without having the same side affects infront of other people.

there are only 2 possible scenarios in my opinion:

1. she really does not give a ****, like at all.

2. she is still in some sort of conservatorship and the book is just fanfic and she’s literally sedated until the end of time and what we see on IG is AI / deepfake and we’ll never see her again until in a few years when people stop checking for her they kill her and say she died tragically and her family becomes billionaires.
