Lol, she looks annoyed when saying ‘happy birthday Justin, I hope you had an amazing time’. This would’ve been such a good gossipy party to go to lol. I think the book glosses over the end of their relationship a lot, I do think they strongly considered getting back together but maybe Britney was too pissed/hurt about CMAR and then JT was bitter she wouldn’t get back with him, leading to all his p*say comments over the years. Just IMO obviously!

After. She attended Colin’s movie premier as his plus 1, which was early Jan 2003. In the book she says she ended the fling with Colin after realizing she still missed Justin. Reports back then mentioned that once the the cameras were off her at the premiere, she was nowhere to be seen and probably went back home.
 

Obviously she left out the part where she attended Justin’s birthday a few weeks after the Colin fling in the book, and leaving Justin’s house early in the morning two months later.

JT has ALWAYS been the male Britney. He has even admitted it before, joking that if Diana Ross is Michael Jackson, he’s basically Britney Spears spelled backwards or something like that.

Her mom has commented in her book that both of them are extremely similar in personality, and that’s why they butt heads and fight all the time. Neither one of them wants to back down. Even the way they both coped with the breakup is similar — I remember JT was taking all kinds of dr**s and sleeping around and partying in the 2002 - 2006 era. His popularity is still extremely polarizing too, 20 years later. Just like Britney.

Of course, their only difference is that he had a loving family without a history of mental illness, while she didn’t have a good family. If her family supported her more or were less dysfunctional, her life would have turned out differently (and more well-adjusted).
