Here's what I thought of the title: not much, at first. I thought it looked simple and slightly familiar. Then I saw on BH it was a line of Not a Girl (lol, yeah, it took a little :eyes_britney_laugh:).

Now what appeals me about that title is that it seems to keep a meaning of what we're about to know in the book. Not just a title or a song line.

It also occurs to me that I'd prefer Britney to be a woman with a happy, simple fulfilled life, just simple, even it's an ordinary life, but her to be a happy woman rather than a popular popstar (who's struggling because of all we know she has gone through, fame, paps, money, family, etc). She deserves it. I don't want a tragic popstar story, a legend or (as there's a doc called) 'an icon ruined by fame' forever. I say this because there's this myth around our collective inconscious and also real stories that have been in the public eye about artists that have burned fast, died and became legends like MJ, Amy, Marilyn and the list goes on. It's like we as the public eye secretly or not so secretly want those popular artists to get crushed so we can get something to entertain us (one more time, no we shouldn't want that).

And by all of that I mean that the title 'The Woman is Me' seems for me to be about finding your own strength, being mature, authentic, independent, autonomous and what else we're gonna find out by Britney's words soon. Also a mother if that's what Britney wants. To be happy and light.

Not (only) 'The Popstar in Me', because that we... she already has it, right?  :crying2_britney_crying_tears_2003_diane_sobbing_sad:

I kind of wish it was ironically called

'Miss American Dream' or 'American Dream'

Because for SO long people thought she was living such a perfect life... but behind closed doors it was nothing like it and it was actually torture to her.

But I personally think the book will be positive not negative. Still gonna spill tea but not in an overtly negative way, rather in a factual way.
