Weird. The vocals are so overproduced that it just sounds like an amateur cover. So I am unfazed. 
 

However, I love this song so much and even told Britney this during my 2016 m&g.

This is a beautiful song, but Britney’s is the only version that exists to me. I don’t care for when other artists purchase and re-recorded her demos, like with State of Grace. That was a masterpiece. Her vocals are always so pretty.

It's one of Britney's most mature and beautiful songs ever. I wish she recorded it again and released it. She should've released this alongside Mind Your B. 

 

The key changes just don't work for the his version.

Unfortunately, she didn’t acknowledge it specifically… I had told her that some of my favorite music of hers are unreleased songs like 911 (drag me) and Strangest Love, and then asked her what her favorite song was to not make it on an album. That’s when she said “Freedom” (which I no longer think is a real song and was her using available outlets/opportunities to covertly comment on her situation at the time).
