Everything from the 90s and early 2000s, including the one hit wonders, were all iconic tbh compared to today's music scene

That's why you see people today jamming to BSB and NSync and Britney classic hits even though they'd never utter their names back then.  Because it's easier to appreciate the scene back then compared to the processed and repetitive quick hits they release today to meet streaming demands from their labels.
