I’ve always loved this song, I get why people hate it though. However I will say I love it as a Myah song, not a Britney Spears song. I’ve always loved the production especially after the chorus

Watching this video hurts, Team Con really was out to tarnish her career with those fake writing credits and the amount of songs she wasn't even on.

I would love for Britney to re-record this album in all honesty. With the real writing credits applied.

It would be a nice eff you to Team Con and gift to her fans.

So heres the thing, while I am a card carrying Britney stan, before anything I am a lover of music. 

On paper, Body ache isn't like a terrible song. But it IS album filler in the worst way possible. It's kinda catchy, but it's missing that extra umpgh and it's obvious there wasn't any attempt to turn this into a great song. Also I think the mixing is wierd. You'd think a song so designed for the dance floor would have a really prominent bass but everything is sorta pushed to back of the mix except the VOCALS( that aren't even Britney's) and that's a strange choice tbh. 

 

I do have it on my workout playlist though ngl.

I also like it should be easy. 
Britney needs to re-record Britney Jean because I feel guilty listening to those songs and knowing that the one who sings in some songs is not her. 😅

Horrific. I still can’t believe BJ was allowed to happen. Imo WB is the only good song on the album. Everything else just has so many parts vocally that either aren’t her or aren’t sung well by her and are sloppily fixed.
