The first headline is from The Times-Picayune, a Louisiana newspaper: "Kentwood Girl Chosen for Mickey Mouse Club". It's May 13, 1993, Britney Spears is 11 years old and has joined Walt Disney's historic children's television show. The Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling show. "It's a dream come true," the blonde girl from McComb, Mississippi, who grew up in Kentwood, daughter of James Spears aka Jamie, a hard-working man with an alcohol addiction, and teacher Lynne, tells the local paper. The latest headline is from about ten days ago.
