Elton John’s last 3 singles went to Number 1 in the UK (all 3 in the last 4 months of 2021). However, saying that one was a collab with Dua (Cold Heart) and two Christmas songs with Ed Sheeran, both of them collaborators are massive streaming forces. So I think we’d have to try hard to help out. 

Elton did release signed physical cd singles for all of those songs to help them get to Number 1. Hopefully Elton’s team pushes the song onto big playlists.
