“My friends and I were three rows from the front. She played the entirety of Slutpop and then went into really heavy electronic remixes of Hillside Boys. Then two things happened:

 

1. it looked like the heavy heat (94 degrees outside - it felt like an oven inside the Mojave, I was drenched in sweat) & choreography got to her and she became winded very quickly.

 

2. her mic kept cutting out and she couldn't hear her in-ear headphone. She kept signaling for the sound techs to turn her up and at one point a guy came out during the set to change her mic.

 

After the remixes she played Future Starts Now. Then it went downhill: she realized her mic was ****ed and instead of getting a chance to announce the next song, "Hit it From the Back" the sound tech continued to let the track play and her mic was still off - causing her to run off the stage almost in tears to grab a hand mic. She came back out and did hit it from the back, J'dore, and after that one abruptly left the stage very visibly upset that it didn't go as planned. On top of all this, her hair got tangled in her earpiece and a guy had to run out to try and fix it. The Energy in the crowd was so much fun. Getting to hear sl** pop like that was INSANE. And she looked great. It was sad that it ended that way, mostly because we were treating her set like the headliner for us, but we had fun and the new songs sound like bangers.”
