honestly i know it might not sound like a great title at first, mostly cause its the lyrics of one of her songs, but i feel like  "miss American dream" is the perfect title for that book.

not really my favorite choice but i feel like it encompasses the whole story in a very iconic way, because it plays bit with the whole theme of "the American dream" and of how someone can come from nothing - literally nothing - and become one of the biggest stars in the world overnight - which in many ways is true about the US and their culture, but it also shows the dark side of America - how such an iconic synonymous of the American culture - a white blonde CIS straight woman was enslaved by the corruption of a select few.

it also covers how the press holds so much power in the US and how the US is an always evolving country - she has changed laws before and might soon again.

she is trascendental - successful, an icon, so many things; a survivor as well. she is basically the American dream - and it plays with that irony and covers the whole essence of American pop culture.

maybe im reaching but i feel like its an incredibly clever tittle - it tells you that its more than just britney spears - she is part of a movement both in her early years and now. she woke us up to toxic tabloid culture / cancel culture / ***uality and many things overall. she is part of history. her career trascended her music - it crossed over to culture, history, laws, government, movements, ***uality, press. so much.
