Jamie "petitioned for fees to be paid to dozens of different law firms" for "more than $30 million", Britney's lawyers claim. Some of this money was allegedly used to "suppress the #FreeBritney movement and sue Britney Spears supporters".

The court filing also includes a statement from Sherine Ebadi, a former FBI special agent who has been hired to investigate Jamie's stewardship of Britney's estate”

So he wanted to use almost half of her net worth to pay for that… ?

The article actually says (buried near the bottom)

I'm aware what the article says. The title is still misleading is what I'm trying to say. 

He didn't use $30 million alone to try and squash the #freebritney movement. It only started in 2019. 

The actual court document states that throughout the conservatorship $30 million was paid to numerous lawyers.

30 million is what the lawyers were paid for 13 years, for various things including squashing the movement

Ah, the good ol’ delusions of grandeur. He probably thought that Britney’s fans would watch it… and others because of his last name. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to watch an old man with colon problems cooking up grits on TV. So glad the networks declined on that one lol
