Jamie Spears' lawyer refutes Britney's allegations in regards to her 2003 interview with Diane Sawyer

Hate that Jamie Spears continues to try to paint Britney as either a liar or delusional. Hope they all get what they deserve for what they have done over the years.  

In a new statement, Jamie's attorney, Alex Weingarten, says, "Mr. Spears has no idea what Ms. Spears is talking about" in reference to the controversial 2003 interview.

"Jamie never set up any interview with Diane Sawyer and was not present for any such interview. He had nothing to do with Britney's career at this point and was completely uninvolved in this interview," the attorney told E! News. "Jamie loves Britney very much, wishes Britney nothing but the best and hopes that she continues to seek the help that she needs to stay safe and healthy."

Britney's post said Larry set up the interview and that Jamie and three men showed up two days before. 

But to be fair, reading is much more difficult when you're drunk (allegedly)

This whole situation is so sad. Jamie Lynn had said Britney will only get worse before she gets better. Now her dad is alluding to her having some kind of episode. They don’t understand that they are a big part of her mental health struggles. They were drugging her with whatever meds made her comply instead of addressing the actual issues she may or may not have. The nerve of him to even respond to this.

But what about it seems wrong. Jamie is a narcissist, so he is trying to make this all about himself. Maybe he didn't technically book the interview, but it sounds like he's always pushed her to work when he could. Also Britney said Larry booked the interview in the post.

I trust Britney over Jamie any day. If she was traumatized by certain things she definitely would remember + family got involved immediately with her first marriage to make sure it was annulled to protect the assets. I don’t put anything past these people.

There's a difference between looking through rose-colored glasses and calling someone you don't know a straight up liar. I think you're a fraud.

By the way, she said Larry Rudolph invited Diane to her house for the interview! Not her dad! She said her dad went to her home a couple days before with other men when she could hardly talk bacause she was so sad about the break up! 
 

When she says “them” I’m completely sure she means her family and team!
