What is the status on the petition to terminate?

I know TMZ (subsequently other outlets ) reported it was filed (or being filed). Afterwards, TMZ and the other outlets deleted the story. Then rumors were swirling the paperwork wasnt filed but was being prepared.

Does anyone have any information?

Seems someone tipped off TMZ for the spin (Jamie) but they were fed misinformation. At least we know now who is 100% in cahoots with each other
