I’m sorry to say this but it feels a little off for a 51 year old to make music as immature as this. 
 

I completely support making *** songs till the age of 100 but immature ‘I’m a young, cool girl’ songs are just ... annoying.

I see this song as a grower, it is fun and catchy. I think a fun performance will give it some life too.

I mean I like it because it's cute and silly and well produced and Gwen made it (I LOVE her) but WHO is she aiming at? Like, who does she think is her target audience? Kidz Bop?!

She's a grown woman now, please give me some substance  At least in the non-single tracks in the (hopefully) upcoming album... Otherwise I'll be disappointed.

The Gen Z Tik Tokers? I hope theres more mature songs on the album as well. She can also do the fun quirky tracks without it being this level of silly. Something like "What you waiting for" would be nice. We will have to wait and see. Im still looking forward to see what else she has in store.

I love her but I’m not feeling her new music at all, it’s like she’s trying too hard to recapture the old Gwen and it seems just forced/dated! It’s ok to change your sound girl, you don’t need to try to be your old self...it’s natural to evolve and try new things!

Yes that album is amazing! Rare and You’re My Favorite are such hidden gems on that album! See that album felt like a natural progression for her, her new music seems so forced like she’s trying to be someone she’s not anymore!

Exactly! "What You Waiting For?" and even "Hollaback Girl" are somewhat smart or give a message.
