Kylie Minogue is aiming for her Second US Top ten Album.

Kylie's lone US Top ten Album is Fever which was released in 2002 by Capitol Records (they literally had no intention, but the success of Can't get you out of my head, led to a US deal fast).

 

It peaked at #3 and Remains her only Album to go Platinum in the US. 

 

However she never matched that.

Aphrodite however was her second US Billboard highest charting Album when it debuted and peaked at #19..

 

However it all can change. 

According to Hits Daily double. 

 

Kylie is aiming for a top ten Debut on the US Billboard 200, and is aiming for #1 on the Top album sales chart..

 

If what hits daily double stays true. 

 

Kylie will have a #1 Album on a billboard chart and her overall career second US Billboard top 200 top ten. 

 

So congrats Kylie. 

 

More US Promotion is coming courtesy of Stephen Colbert and of course, James Cordon who's been a huge Kylie fan. 

 

The fact she just slipped to #2 on iTunes after 3 days of being #1 is such a strong indicator that it might just happen. 

 

It does help to note the infinite disco helped increased sales in the US. 

 

As she did two shows.. one for the east coast and one for the west coast. 

 

Like her fans said, she definitely provided the escape we all needed in this album.

Wait. Are you saying Kylie is on track to have a top 10 album debut, OR it will go number one on Billboard? 

Both are a great feat! But how amazing if she got a number one album in America, after all these decades!

Amazon states the CD is sold beginning Friday but Via import.

I tried buying a physical copy in America and no place is selling Disco. So the fact that she is projected to chart top 10 is amazing!! Kylie deserves more recognition on America.
